CARIBOU, Maine — Pines Health Services announced that Jodi Cote, PMHNP-BC has joined the Pines Health Services team as a mental health provider.

“Mental health is important at every stage of life, and being able to support all of our patients with mental health care needs is critical,” said Lisa Caron, Pines chief operating officer. “Jodi is bringing a wealth of experience to this role and we know she will be a great addition to our team.”

Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make healthy choices. Taking care of our mental wellbeing is just as important as taking care of our physical health.

Cote will be seeing patients of all ages and will have office hours in several Pines locations to include the Caribou, Women’s & Children’s, Presque Isle, and St. John Valley Health Centers. She can assess, diagnose, treat and support those struggling with mental health disorders.

Cote completed the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Walden University, and earned her bachelor of nursing from the University of Maine at Fort Kent.
