FORT KENT, Maine — St. John Valley Senior College is offering a class on “The Boston Marathon Experience.” The class includes four Boston Marathon runners who will talk about how to prepare for the race, the challenges of the race, how to maintain their motivation, and their most difficult part of the race.
One of four presenters ran in the 2023 Boston Marathon and finished 282nd out of the 30,000 runners.
The class will be held on Thursday, April 27 from 6–8 p.m. in UMFK’s Nadeau Hall Teleconference Room. Please call 207-834-3536 to register for this class.
Senior College is a program designed for people who are over 50 years of age, like to remain active and have a keen interest in learning. It offer classes, workshops, and field trips with a goal of making learning fun while not having to worry about homework, exams, or grades.
