What a great week we had for the Maine Potato Blossom Festival. Tempo Employment Service, always a big supporter of the animals, sponsored the Festival Pet Show. Mother Nature finally cooperated and the skies cleared and it was a beautiful warm evening. We had lots participating, dogs, cats and the cutest darned 8-year-old guinea pig. All of the show entries were on their best behavior while they were paraded around the Gazebo grounds. Many pets stopped to appreciate the praise along the way. Each furry family member received a first-place blue ribbon and numerous door prizes were given out. We raised around $100 to go towards our new building project!
It truly warms our hearts to see so many people who love their four-legged family members. We hope that next year, the Festival Pet Show will be even bigger and better.
With this beautiful warm and wonderful weather, please remember to protect your pets from the heat. Fresh water, shade and never leave a pet alone in a hot car.
