FORT KENT, Maine — Kaden Condo, 20, of Fort Kent was seriously injured after the dirt bike he was driving struck the side of a truck on Monday afternoon, according to Police Chief Michael DeLena.

Condo was driving a 2016 dirt bike in a residential driveway on Market Street when he accelerated out of the driveway and struck a Northeast Paving Construction utility truck driven by Bill Eberle, 46, of Caribou.

Condo was sent to Northern Maine Medical Center, but Eberle was not injured, police said.

Condo’s inexperience driving dirt bikes may have contributed to the incident, police said.
