Wintergreen Arts Center will host a Summer Arts Showcase at 6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 4, during Presque Isle’s First Friday Art Walk.
“In partnership with the Presque Isle Housing Authority and Presque Isle Recreation & Parks Department, we are celebrating our talented young artists and their creativity,” said Dottie Hutchins, Wintergreen’s executive director.
Campers participating in Wintergreen’s many visual and digital summer arts camps will display their work.
Wintergreen’s camps include Nature & Art Camp and Fairy Garden Camp (at the Sargent Family Community Center), Art with HeART (a free arts program for all children held at the Presque Isle Housing Authority), Painting-at-the-Park Camp (at Mantle Lake Park), and the following camps held at the arts center: Mermaid & Pirate Camp, WKNN Video Camp, Spa Camp, Unicorn & Dragon Camp, Wizard Camp, Adopt-a-Pet Camp and DIY Décor Camp.
The Summer Arts Student Showcase is free and open to the public.
