Beatrice Steeves turned 90 years old on July 12, and on Saturday, July 8, her family threw her a “Fabulous 90th” birthday party at her Houlton residence.
She received a big “90” balloon along with a diamond tiara and other party favors on the same theme. There was great food that was provided, followed by strawberry shortcake with biscuits and fresh strawberries with whipped cream for dessert in place of a cake.
In attendance were: Bea’s daughter, Susan, and her husband Mike Pattershall, their daughter Jennifer Tabor and Bea’s great granddaughter, Alexis; daughter, Elaine Steeves, and her daughter, Andrea Caron; son, Michael, and his wife Cheryl Steeves, their son Matthew and Donnie Steeves with their children, Alex, Chase and Ava; daughter, Pam, and her husband Dean Sidell and one of their daughters, Andi; and daughter, Sandi, and her husband Tim Morris, her daughter Lindsay Corey along with her fiancé Eric Larrabee, and their children, Brycen and Gunner.
Many residents stopped in to wish her a happy birthday and enjoy goodies.
Others who joined in the party were her nephew, Dean Steeves, and his dog Hope from Connecticut, and Cheryl Steeves’ granddaughter, Bethann Lee, and her daughter Lainey and nephew Tearson. Some of the Canadian family also joined: Helen Estey, Hazel Turnbull and Phyllis MacLean.
The family thanked all who attended and said the guest of honor totally enjoyed the event.
