Mostly cloudy skies are expected this afternoon as an upper-trough moves across the region bringing some scattered showers to the Valley and isolated afternoon thunderstorms generally west of Highway 11. The trough moves away tonight with high pressure building in overnight into Thursday. Partly cloudy skies with isolated showers are expected in the evening. Patchy fog is possible overnight.
A weak ridge of high pressure builds in Thursday with partly sunny to partly cloudy skies across the area. Partly cloudy skies Thursday night give way to mostly cloudy skies Friday as a cold front approaches with a chance for showers in the morning and showers with isolated thunderstorms Friday afternoon into Friday night.

A closed upper low slowly moves across the region Saturday into Saturday evening with morning showers becoming more scattered in the afternoon as the low gradually moves east. As the upper low moves into the Maritimes, partly cloudy skies develop Saturday night with scattered showers possible.
High pressure builds in Sunday with a weak cold front approaching later in the day producing some isolated showers in the afternoon and evening. High pressure to the west is expected to build into the region Monday with partly sunny skies with isolated afternoon showers. Partly cloudy skies Monday night with isolated showers are possible. High pressure moves across the region Tuesday with partly cloudy skies.
