Heather Bouley, Senior Account Manager, Sales Agent, and Assistant Branch Supervisor for F. A. Peabody Insurance of Madawaska, was recently named the 2023 Outstanding CSR of the Year for the State of Maine through the National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research. Heather will be advancing to the national award competition, where four finalists and a winner will be chosen.
To qualify for this top state honor, Heather submitted the winning essay on the topic,
“Empathy is an important aspect of customer-facing jobs, and it will only become more important as companies place a great emphasis on making customer interactions feel natural and effective. Explain how empathy has helped you become a better CSR. Give three examples of how you’ve used empathy in your role and describe the positive effects it’s had on your organization.”
Additionally, Heather was selected for having demonstrated outstanding service and professionalism within the insurance industry.
Diane DuMont, Northern Aroostook District Supervisor for F.A. Peabody Insurance, says, “I have had the pleasure of working with Heather since 2017 when she joined the agency, new to the insurance industry. Heather acclimated quickly and earned her State of Maine Producer Resident License in 2018. She has spent the last 5 years learning more about the industry and her client base in the small, northern Maine mill town where she lives and works. Heather’s desire is to serve her clients by improving their existing coverage and providing additional coverages for their assets, at competitive rates, as she is very aware of the continuous rising costs that her neighbors and friends are seeing in every aspect of their daily lives. She strives to provide them with appropriate, cost effective insurance products to meet their needs.”
Heather lives in Madawaska with her husband, Wayne, and her sons, Nathanael and Lucas. She can be contacted by calling 207-316-1157 or emailing heather.bouley@fapeabody.com.
