Caribou Class of 1958 holds 65th reunion

The festivities began with a “meet and greet” at the home of Dwight & Mariel Stickles, 70 Spring Street on July 7.  15 classmates and guests attended.  Light hors d’oeuvres and punch and iced tea were served.

The reunion was held at the Par & Grill.  The class gathered at noon for a social time.  Everyone ordered their meal from the menu.  Diana (DeMerchant) Adamson was master of ceremonies and welcomed everyone.  She introduced Ronnie Price and he gave the invocation.  The meal was served.

After lunch a short meeting was held regarding the next reunion and it was decided to have a 70th class reunion in 2028.  A class photo was taken.  Seventeen classmates attended the event along with spouses and guests.

A baked bean supper was served at the home of Dwight and Mariel Stickles that evening.  Everything was homemade and consisted of baked beans, coleslaw, brown bread, Swedish meatballs, white rolls, fruit salad, potato salad, trifle, cheese and crackers, punch and iced tea.

A sincere thank you was extended to the reunion committee: Diana Adamson, Dwight and Mariel Stickles, John and Brenda Bourgoine, and  Patricia McDaniels.
