3-day Outlook: Wednesday, Nov. 15-Friday, Nov. 17
High pressure will build in at the surface and aloft today; however, moisture aloft will keep mostly cloudy skies across the Valley into the afternoon hours. Considerable cloudiness continues tonight as a warm front followed by a cold front move across the SJV bringing a chance for scattered snow showers with little accumulation this evening.
High pressure then builds across the region Thursday and Thursday night with mostly sunny skies Thursday and partly cloudy skies Thursday night. A warm front lifts across the region Friday with some afternoon rain showers and gusty south winds expected. Rain is expected Friday night into early Saturday as a cold front approaches from the west.

An oceanic low approaches the Maritimes later Saturday; however, the track and timing are still uncertain. It looks like this system may move into the Maritimes bringing rain/snow to the Valley later Saturday into Sunday morning. Precipitation type/amounts will be determined by the low’s ultimate track.
Precipitation tapers to snow showers Sunday morning with some freezing rain possible that persist into the early afternoon before ending. High pressure builds in from the west Monday into Tuesday with partly cloudy skies and brisk northwest winds. A frontal system approaches Tuesday with some isolated snow showers possible by the afternoon hours.
