An upper-level trough will move into the Maritimes today with high pressure briefly building in this afternoon. Clouds increase tonight as a warm front lifts towards the region producing some snow showers after midnight.

An upper-level trough will move into the Maritimes today with high pressure briefly building in this afternoon. Clouds increase tonight as a warm front lifts towards the region producing some snow showers after midnight. 

The warm front moves across the area Thursday, then a cold front approaches with snow showers returning after midnight changing to rain showers Friday morning in to the afternoon then back to snow showers Friday afternoon before ending. High pressure in Quebec then builds in later Friday into Saturday.

High pressure will bring party cloudy to mostly sunny skies Saturday into Saturday night. Clouds increase Sunday as an upper-trough of low pressure approaches from Quebec bringing snow to the Saint John Valley. Snow is expected to continue Monday and Tuesday as an upper-trough remains over the region, then a low looks to track south of the Gulf of Maine Tuesday into Wednesday.
