PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — Fire crews quickly contained a small blaze that broke out Wednesday morning on Henderson Road in Presque Isle.
The Presque Isle Fire Department received a call at 11:15 a.m. of a small fire in the chimney of the potato house owned by Ireland Farms located at Phair Junction, according to Deputy Fire Chief Nate Allen.
Easton and Caribou Fire Departments also helped and the fire was extinguished at 11:23 a.m.
No injuries were reported and the structure had minimal damage.
“Everybody worked well and we had roughly about 15 firemen out there [who] were able to extinguish the fire pretty quick,” Allen said.
