3-Day Outlook: Wednesday, March 20-Friday, March 22
Low pressure is expected to develop along the New Hampshire coast later today then track along the Downeast coast or as far north as the I-95 corridor. Snow showers develop this afternoon and become a steadier snow later today with snow showers this evening followed by snow Thursday morning into the afternoon.
Much of the Valley looks to receive 4-6 inches of snow while areas from Van Buren south look to be in an area of 8- to 12-inch snowfall potential. Snow tapers to snow showers that wind down by early Friday. Gusty northwest winds are expected Thursday shifting to the west Thursday night and remaining gusty into Friday.
High pressure will build in Friday with gusty west winds across the Valley with mostly sunny skies and chilly conditions. Partly cloudy skies are expected Friday night with lows falling into the lower teens for most Valley locations.

A low pressure system may affect the region Saturday into Sunday. While models are not in good agreement, general consensus looks for snow Saturday afternoon tapering to snow showers Saturday night that linger through Sunday afternoon. Partly cloudy skies develop Sunday night as high pressure builds in from the west. Partly cloudy skies are expected Monday and Tuesday with a slight chance for snow showers by Tuesday afternoon as an upper-trough affects the region.
