3-Day Outlook: Wednesday, April 10 – Friday, April 12
An approaching warm front will bring increasing clouds today with rain likely tonight as it lifts across the region by early Thursday. Low pressure will then lift across the Great Lakes and track east of James Bay into northern Quebec/Nunavut.
A cold front will approach and cross the Valley Friday into Saturday with the Valley at a “marginal” risk for excessive rainfall Friday. Breezy south/southeast winds also develop Thursday and continue into Saturday. Rainfall estimates look to be in the 1/2 to 3/4 inch range based on current forecast model data.

An upper trough moves across the region Saturday keeping a chance for showers across the St. John Valley into Sunday morning. Lingering rain showers, mixing with snow showers Sunday morning are expected to taper off by Sunday evening. Partly cloudy skies overspread the region Monday with enough moisture remaining over the Valley to produce a slight chance for afternoon showers.
