BANGOR, Maine — The Northern Maine Moose lacrosse team pulled off a big 16-6 win against John Bapst Memorial High School of Bangor at Husson University.

Konnor Lynds led the Moose with eight goals and two assists. Other point-scorers were Adrian Norton two goals; Colton Simoes one goal; Michael Conley one goal, two assists; Isaiah Ervin three goals, six assists; Logan Fagiolli one goal; and Colby Scott two assists.

Head coach Adam Simoes said, “This is great momentum going into a big final home game and Senior Night, next Wednesday against Hampden Academy.  We are after the best possible playoff position and every win counts. The statistics show the depth of the team. Faceoffs were a big part of the success today with Colton Simoes clamping 95 percent of the faceoffs and winning 72 percent  with help from his wingmates Michael Conley and Ryker Forbush. Konnor Lynds was on fire tonight. I am glad to see his success as well. We are already in preparation for Wednesday, watching film for the next team.”
