Valley chamber hires new director

The St. John Valley Chamber of Commerce has announced the appointment of Jessica Blalock as its new executive director. 

Blalock brings with her a wealth of experience and a passionate vision for the growth and prosperity of the region.

In her new role, Blalock will spearhead initiatives aimed at fostering local business economic growth and development as well as tourism within the St. John Valley community. With a deep commitment to supporting local businesses and showcasing the unique offerings of the region, Blalock is poised to lead the Chamber of Commerce into an exciting new chapter, officials said.

Blalock said she is excited about her new venture in a position to effect positive change and growth for the region.

“My vision for the future of the St. John Valley Chamber of Commerce and Tourism is to expand and grow our services for local businesses within our region, as well as provide business news and information to tourists and members of the community,” she said. “It is imperative to support our local businesses as they are the backbone of our local economy.”

Blalock’s dedication to community engagement and economic vitality will undoubtedly propel the St. John Valley Chamber of Commerce to new heights, solidifying its position as a cornerstone of the region’s success, chamber officials said.
