Easton Junior Senior High School honor parts

EASTON, Maine — Easton Junior Senior High School Principal Laura Hunter, is pleased to announce the honor parts for the graduation ceremonies of the Class of 2024. The graduation ceremony will be held on Friday, June 7 at 6:30 p.m.

Valedictorian Maggie McQuade is the daughter of Andrew and Lori McQuade. Maggie has made highest honors all four years of high school. She has been a four-year member of the math team as well as Battle of the Books. Throughout her high school career she participated on the varsity soccer, basketball, and volleyball teams. Maggie has been an active member of the National Honor Society over the past three years.  Maggie held a class office grades 9-11. During her junior year she was voted the overall winner of the Junior Exhibition. In her spare time you will find Maggie waitressing at Ferris BBQ, working at the Mars Hill Country Club, or playing piano for her church.  During her senior year Maggie attended Caribou Tech Center and earned her CNA pin. In the fall Maggie plans to attend Liberty University to study education. 

McQuade

Salutatorian Joshua Good is the son of David and Sonia Good. Throughout high school Josh participated in JV basketball, varsity basketball, varsity soccer and was also the Easton Mascot one basketball season. Josh made highest honors all four years of high school. He was an active member of the math team all four years as well as a member of Battle of the Books. Josh was class president during his junior year and also participated in the Junior Exhibition. During Josh’s junior year he was also a member of the Student Council and served as the Student Council vice president. Josh was involved in Varsity Club and National Honor Society grades 10-12. In the fall Josh plans to attend Oral Roberts University to study biochemical engineering.  

Good

1st Honor Essayist Abigale Bugbee is the daughter of Ryan and Morgan Bugbee. Abby has earned highest honors throughout her high school career. During her freshman and sophomore years she participated in varsity soccer as well as Varsity Club. Abby has been an active member of the Spanish Club all four years of high school and served as Spanish Club president during her senior year. Abby also has been a member of the National Honor Society since her sophomore year. During her senior year Abigale was a member of the yearbook staff, she also attended Caribou Tech and participated in the Criminal Justice program. In the fall Abby plans to attend the University of Kentucky to study neuroscience.  

Bugbee


2nd Honor Essayist Alexander Hale is the son of Jeremy and Heather Hale. Alex earned highest honors all four years of high school. During his freshman and senior years he was a member of the class cabinet and served as vice president. Alex has participated on the Easton Math Team throughout high school, during his junior year he took third place for the math team. Also during his junior year Alex attended Presque Isle Tech Center and studied aquaculture and natural resources. Alex was a member of the yearbook staff during his senior year. At this time Alex is undecided on his future plans upon graduation.
