A warm front will slowly lift across the Valley today into tonight followed by a low pressure and cold front Thursday into Friday. High pressure will then build into the Valley for the weekend. There will be a slight chance of showers this afternoon and evening as the warm front lifts northwards. Chances of showers increase after midnight with showers likely by Thursday morning (along with some patchy fog).
Showers continue Thursday with a chance of afternoon thunderstorms as the cold front approaches and moves across the SJV. A chance of showers continues Thursday evening with a slight chance of showers behind the front Thursday night into Friday morning (along with a chance for patchy fog to develop overnight). Skies become mostly clear by Friday night.

High pressure will build across the Saint John Valley Saturday into early Tuesday then move east by midweek. Temperatures increase from the lower 80s Saturday into the low 90s Monday into Tuesday. Dew points climb into the 60s Sunday night through Tuesday making for a rather muggy period in northern Maine. A cold front looks to approach around midweek with a chance of afternoon showers and isolated thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon/evening.
