She looks forward to making memories with her sister Queens and enjoying the sunshine in Florida. She hopes to encourage others that they can do whatever they set their minds to, “Dream Big, know you are going to accomplish incredible things once you start believing in yourself” is her motto.  This is precisely what she did once I set my mind to what I wanted to achieve. She is excited to share her year with everyone and her journey to Nationals.

Mattison attends school at Zippel Elementary as a third-grade student, where she loves engaging with her classmates, friends and staff. She aims to be a teacher someday, and she loves helping others. I volunteer at the school my mom works at in my free time as much as I can.

She began competing in pageants when she was five. Addison’s first win was so exciting; it felt like someone was having a birthday party in her heart. In her free time, you will find Michelle behind her camera capturing memories for many families, in her kitchen creating a cake to make someone’s day extra special or making memories of her own with her family!

Lisa Bird of Gorham took home the crown as Mrs. Maine’s Sweetheart. This was Lisa’s second time competing at the state level. In 2023, representing the Southern Maine Sweetheart pageant, she competed, won talent, and placed third runner-up in the states. She recently left a 30-year position as the director of public relations for Special Olympics Maine to accept a position with Granite Bay Care, Maine’s largest provider of residential services to adults with intellectual disabilities, where she is participating in groundbreaking work.

In her spare time, Lisa sings with the Christian band Fulcrum, is an active church member  and enjoys volunteering for various organizations and individuals. Last year, she was recognized for her volunteer work when she was selected as one of Maine’s 20 Outstanding Women, and she will soon participate in Maine’s 100+ Women Who Care.

One of her biggest hopes, as she looks forward to her reign, is the chance to help young ladies and women build self-confidence. She believes that we all have a special gift and would like to help women find out what theirs is. She also hopes to reach out to women beyond the typical pageant age and show them so many opportunities await them. If they didn’t have a chance to become a princess when they were younger, they still have an opportunity to be a queen. It doesn’t matter your age, size, shape, etc. What truly matters is who you are on the inside, how you use your God-given gifts, and how you give back.

She is a certified professional in Tarot and a practicing Reiki Master, working toward receiving a Life Coach certification. She is excited to begin studying Qigong and Transcendental Meditation this fall. What excites Ginger most about pageantry is the ability to meet new people, make new friends and raise funding and awareness for charitable causes. As this is her first time moving beyond the state competition level, she is looking forward to going to Florida with my fellow sister Queens and experiencing competition at the National level for the first time!

Driven to make a positive impact, Dulce is eager to continue volunteering with MASP and promoting respectful behavior in local schools through the Crown CARES platform. She is a veterinary assistant at the At Home Veterinary Care, a veterinary hospital in West Gardiner. Emily’s profound interest in agriculture and education prompted her to establish her platform, Agrication by Emily. Despite her demanding schedule, which includes working on her family’s Boer goat farm, fulfilling her duties at the veterinary hospital and preparing for upcoming volunteer events and pageants, Emily takes great pride in educating her community about various facets of agriculture while simultaneously endeavoring to dismiss negative stereotypes associated with the farming community. Emily is currently engaged in the development of her own business, Paws & Pastures Pet Care. This enterprise offers pet sitting, dog walking, and livestock assistance services.

Furthermore, Emily is thrilled to announce that she has officially signed as a local director for the Miss Western Maine Pageant. Emily immensely benefits from contributing to her community and educating her peers about The Crown CARES. Additionally, Emily diligently advocates for the Adoptive & Foster Families of Maine, drawing upon her six years of experience as a foster sister to support as many children as possible within Maine’s Foster Care system. During her reign, she intends to maintain her advocacy for The Crown CARES, the Adoptive & Foster Families of Maine, and agriculturists.
