Windows of two buildings belonging to Dave’s World in Presque Isle were damaged over the weekend.
Police arrested a suspect Sunday in connection with multiple acts of vandalism, the Presque Isle Police Department said on social media Sunday.
Several businesses had windows damaged and flower pots overturned, police said.
On Monday morning, broken glass littered the sidewalk at the main office building, and the outer panes of all four plate glass windows were broken. Workers at the site said the inner panes were not damaged.
At the nearby warehouse, one window facing Main Street was broken.
Otherwise, the street showed little damage. A couple of flowerpots further south looked to be missing some flowers and had spilled dirt around their bases.
Heat pump company Dave’s World recently announced it would open its first Aroostook County store in Presque Isle and had purchased the former NAPA Auto Parts/Coastal Auto Parts buildings.
Dave’s World officials did not respond to a request for comment.
Multiple attempts to contact the police department were unsuccessful.
