BANGOR, Maine —Three youths representing Presque Isle Elks Lodge #1954 have advanced to the Maine Elks Association’s State Soccer Shoot, after winning in their respective age divisions at the Northern District Soccer Shoot held at Husson University in Bangor on Sunday, September 22.
Winners in the under 10 age category were Kooper Griffeth, daughter of Billi Griffeth and Joel Griffeth of Mapleton, and Oakley Stetson, son of Rachel Stetson and Spencer Stetson of Mars Hill.
Aaron Cloukey, son of Shawn Cunningham and AJ Cloukey of Presque Isle, was a winner in the under 12 age category.
The winners have earned the right to compete in the State Soccer Shoot to be held on October 6 at the Waterville Elks Lodge.
