LIMESTONE, Maine — Andrew Thomas Mallett, “Peaches,” 21, son of Lisa (Theriault) Betancourth and Edward Mallett III, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, April 1, 2017, at his Limestone residence.
He was born June 23, 1995, in Presque Isle, and attended Fort Fairfield and Presque Isle schools. Andrew was a loving son, brother, grandson and nephew. He will be remembered for his contagious smile, his willingness to help all those in need, and his ability to make other people smile. He was also a dedicated volunteer at the Friends Helping Friends Food Pantry in Fort Fairfield.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Harold and Linda Theriault. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Lisa and Carols Betancourth of Fort Fairfield; his father, Edward Mallett III of Hawaii; sisters, Chelsea Theriault of Virginia, Ryley and Bailee Mallett and Gabby Betancourth; brother, Anthony Betancourth, all of Fort Fairfield; paternal grandfather, Edward Mallett II and his wife, Vicky of Sabattus; paternal grandmother, Valerie Vales of Hawaii; special uncles and aunts, James Theriault and his girlfriend, Maryse Michaud, of Grand Isle, Renee Darling of Sabattus, Bobby Mallett of Ohio, Sunshine Spaulding and Cierra Mallett, both of Sabattus; numerous, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends may call Friday April 7, 2017, from 3-4 p.m. at the Celebration Center, 170 Houlton Road, Fort Fairfield, where a Celebration of Andrew’s Life will be conducted at 4 p.m. with the Rev. Stephen Lewis officiating. A time of continued fellowship with refreshments will be held after the service at the Fort Fairfield Snowmobile Club, Strickland Road, Fort Fairfield.
