PATTEN, Maine — Brian H. Wing, 72, of Patten, died March 29, 2017, in Bangor with his family by his side. He was born June 1, 1944, in Island Falls, the son of Herbert and June (Dow) Wing.
Brian worked for Continental Telephone Co. for 30 years and for Green Valley Association for 20. He enjoyed sports of all kinds including hunting and fishing but most of all spending time with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Linda (Cameron) Wing of Patten; three loving daughters, Wendy Lewis of Cary, Sherri Witham and Robin of Amity and Marcy Hartin and Tom of Skowhegan; 6 grandchildren, Brian, Jess, Kristin, Kelsey, Matthew and Paul; a great granddaughter, Cheyanne; sisters, Edrice Bates of Old Orchard Beach and Hazel Menze of FL. He was predeceased by his parents; his brother, Billy; two sisters, Shirley Dunphy and Bunny Cox.
