ROGER DAIGLE SR. WASHBURN – Roger Daigle, Sr., 70, passed away on Easter Sunday, April 16, 2017 at his residence in Washburn.
He was born on December 29, 1946 in Eagle Lake, the son of Alfred and Beatrice (Petrie) Daigle.
Roger served his country and was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked at Zayre and Ames department stores and worked recently for 15 years at S.W. Collins Company where he retired.
Roger is survived by his wife of 46 years, Emily (Kinney) Daigle of Washburn, his son, Roger Daigle, Jr. of Orono, daughters; Debra Bragg of Presque Isle, Nancy Ezelle of Virginia and Paula Wardwell of New Mexico and 34 grandchildren, his niece and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Roger is predeceased by his son, Randy Allen, brother Raymond and sister Theresa.
A graveside service with military honors will be held 1pm, May 8, 2017 at the Maine Veterans Cemetery, Caribou with Pastor Bruce Blakney, officiating. Donations may be made in Roger’s memory to the Washburn Pentecostal Church, PO Box 502, Washburn, ME 04786. Online condolences may be expressed at
