CASSIE MAY LONG PRESQUE ISLE – Cassie May Long, 96, passed away at a Mars Hill nursing facility on Easter, April 16, 2017, after suffering a brief illness.
She was born in Ashland on November 1, 1920, the youngest of eight children to Thomas Jefferson and Georgiana (Jimmo) Page.
Cassie and her husband worked at Taterstate Frozen Foods for over 30 years.
She is survived by her son, Milford Long and his wife Dianne of Crouseville; daughters; Lillian Kidney and her husband Richard of Presque Isle and Patricia Watt and her husband Richard Sr. of Castle Hill, 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11am, Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Parish of the Precious Blood, Presque Isle. A visitation will be held in the Narthex at 10am until the time of the mass. A reception will follow at the K of C hall. Interment will be held later in the spring.
