CARIBOU, Maine — Phyllis M. Corbin, 87, wife of the late Ralph Corbin Sr. passed away April 16, 2017 at Augusta. She was born in Presque Isle January 10, 1930 the daughter of the late Charles and Evangeline (Tardiff) Dodd. Mrs. Corbin was a longtime member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
She was also a lifetime active member of the Lister Knowlton Post 9389 VFW and the Henry B. Pratt Post 15 American Legion Ladies Auxiliaries. She is survived by her children: Diane Allen of Caribou, Marie Doody of Bristol, CT., Ralph Corbin Jr and wife Ruth of Belgrade, Donna Niffen of Kuna, ID., Fred Corbin and wife Shirley of N.Berwick, Barbara Corbin and partner Tim Briggs of Bristol, CT., and Kathy Daigle and husband Steven of Milford, N.H. Her brothers and sisters; Maxine Bench, Charles Dodd Jr., Robert Dodd, Elaine Dodd and Gary Dodd. Six. Grandchildren, three great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Corbin was predeceased by her husband, siblings, Susan, Lloyd, Donald and Donna Dodd and Joan Newton, as well as two sons in law Dale Allen and Eveard Doody.
Friends may call at the Mockler Funeral Home 24 Reservoir Street Caribou 6-8 pm Thursday, where evening VFW/American Legion Auxiliary services will be held at 6:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 2:00pm Friday April 21, 2017 from the Parish of the Precious Blood, Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Interment will be in the Holy Rosary Cemetery.
