HOULTON, Maine — A strong crowd turned out for the 30th annual Gun Show organized by the Houlton Rifle and Pistol Club.
Paul Harrison, one the club members who helped organize the event, said nearly 800 people turned out for the April 22-23 show, which included 72 tables and 20 different vendors.
“We’re really pleased with the attendance,” he said. “We had a really good turnout this year both of dealers and of the public.”
Raffle winner at this year’s show was Wanda Parks, who won a Smith and Wesson M&P 15-22.
Proceeds from the event help support scholarships to area schools. Harrison said each year the club donates a $500 scholarship to students from Houlton and Hodgdon high schools.
