ATLC plans Easton bottle drive

Easton’s Aroostook Teen Leadership Camp students will participate in a bottle drive in Easton on Saturday, April 29, from 9-11 a.m.   

Campers will go door-to-door, or folks may drop bottle donations off at the trailer located at Easton High School that morning.  

If you wish to schedule pick-up, please call 551-5933.

Happy Days update

The Happy  Days  Senior Citizens’ Club met after a pizza lunch on April 13 with 15 members present.  

The next meeting will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, April 27, following a potluck lunch in the recreation room at the Manor. Seniors, please plan to join them and invite a friend.

Community Library

On Saturdays the Community Library will be held at the Easton High School Library and will feature a story time from 10 to 10:30 a.m. geared for toddlers/pre-K to grade 3. Children under 5 must be accompanied by an adult.  The Story Time will include a picture book with an activity/color page to follow.

The library will be open to the community for patrons to utilize library services; book loans, use of periodicals and reference materials, Internet and computer access. Patrons may bring their own devices to access the Internet and will be asked to follow existing library rules/guidelines.   

This week’s dates include Wednesday, April 26, at the Elementary School and Saturday, April 29, at the High School.
