Inez L. Belanger

CARIBOU, Maine — Inez L. Belanger, 73 wife of the late Eugene Belanger, passed away April 18, 2017 at Caribou. She was born in Upper Kent, N.B. Canada April 23, 1943 the daughter of the late Myles and Bessie (McGary) Hawthorne. She was a graduate of Bath Regional High School and the received her CNA certificate in Caribou in 1991.

She was employed by the Bouchard Potato Co and more recently was a CNA at Caribou Rehab and Nursing. Inez was a member of the United Pentecostal Church of Caribou, where she taught Sunday School for a number of years and also served as the Sunday School Director. Inez volunteered many hours at Bible Camp and was also a member of the Aroostook County RSVP. She is survived by her children; Roland Belanger and wife Ricketta, Gail Donovan and husband Wayne, and  Paul Belanger and wife Marianne all of Caribou. Brothers, sisters and in laws; Barbara and Emery Kinney of Holmsville, N.B, Betty Wheeler of Bristol, Ct.,  Donald and Geraldine Hawthorne of Bath, N.B., Wanda Arbeau of Bath N.B. Vivian Hawthorne of N.B and Robert Holmes of Upper Kent. Her grandchildren: Leticia Tracy, Samuel, Desirea and Anna, Angela, Chris, Chad, Cassandra, Danielle and Ashley.  Ten great great grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews, as a well as many special friends at her church and special family friends Nancy and Keith Espling. Mrs. Belanger was predeceased by a daughter Ann Plourde Miller and her husband Mark, a son Jeffery, a brother Myles, two  sisters Hazel Holmes and Marion Lazarski, and a grandson Daniel Miller.

Friends called at the United Pentecostal Church, Fort Road, Caribou Friday April 21, 2017 from 2:00 pm until time of services were be held at 4:00 PM with the David McCausland, officiating.
