PRESQUE ISLE, ME – Hazel Cyr died peacefully after a short illness on April 14, 2017 in Presque Isle, at the age of 85.
She lived with her son Rick for the last 6 months of her life. He was her main caregiver and received help from other members of the family. She enjoyed cats, garage sales, reading and being with her family. Hazel is survived by four of her five children Sandra, Rick, Randy and Terry. She also has many grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she loved dearly. She is preceded in death by her son Larry, her mother and father, Melissa and Henry Sturgeon, also by her sisters, Essie, Reve and brothers, Wilmer, Neal, Warren and Ronnie. A memorial will be held at Fairmont Cemetery in Presque Isle at a later date.
