MCF wants to hear from County residents

ELLSWORTH and PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — The Maine Community Foundation will host a community conversation and breakfast for Aroostook County residents on Friday, May 12, in Presque Isle.

Steve Rowe, the foundation’s president and CEO, will facilitate the event at the Edmunds Conference Center, Northern Maine Community College, from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. A light breakfast will be available at 7:30 and discussion will begin at 8 a.m.  

MaineCF, a statewide foundation that awarded more than $33 million in grants and scholarships last year, wants input on how it can help build on Aroostook County’s strengths and improve residents’ quality of life. Information about MaineCF grantmaking and scholarships will also be available.
