Kids Say — Mother’s Day 2017

The Houlton Pioneer Times spoke to elementary students at Greater Houlton Christian Academy Monday morning to see what type of gift each would like to get his or her mom for Mother’s Day. Answers could be something real, or complete fantasy, and money was no object. The following is a list of their responses.

“If you could get your mother anything in the world for Mother’s Day, what would it be?”

Silas Nadeau, fifth grade — “I would get my mom a new silver minivan, with sliding doors, and a whole bunch of TVs.”

Abby Duff, fourth grade — “A life supply of Hershey’s chocolate.”

Matthew McQuade, fourth grade — “A new horse barn with stalls for her horses. She has 12 horses.”

Sarah Matheson, fourth grade — “A maid so she wouldn’t have to clean.”

Ava Whited, fourth grade — “A mansion in Florida, with 100 rooms and swimming pools.”

Jacob Watson, third grade — “Probably a new laptop because she shut a pen in her old one and it broke.”

Andrea Ross, third grade — “A new computer. The one she has is really old.”

Malachi Witmer, second grade — “A picture that I drew of me and her together.”
