CARIBOU, Maine —Larry Dean Beaupre, 61, passed away unexpectedly May 1, 2017, at Portland. He was born in Caribou, on October 8, 1955, the son of Francis and Blanche (Cyr) Beaupre.
He was a 1974 graduate of Caribou High School, grew up attending the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and also attended the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He married Rona Pelletier and she predeceased him in 2001. Larry was a self-employed long haul truck driver for a number of years and more recently was employed by RF Chamberland and Albert Farms. He was also employed at Maine Military Authority at Loring for over 6 years. Larry loved trucking and was very proud of the fact that he had driven over four million miles in his career.
Surviving in addition to his daughter and son-in-law, Lindsey and Isaac Vaughn of Washburn are his mother, Blanche of Caribou, his special granddaughter Elexus Jaide Quimby, his significant other, Monica LaPointe of Caribou, his brother and sister in law Jerry and Jennifer Beaupre of Caribou, two sisters and a brother-in-law; Brenda Martin of Mariaville, and Gail and Randy Clark of New Sweden. Many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Mr. Beaupre was predeceased by his father.
Friends called at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou, 6-9 p.m., Thursday, May 4, 2017. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 5, 2017, from the Parish of the Precious Blood, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Caribou. Interment was in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
