A doubleheader sweep of Madawaska Monday capped a busy week of action on the tennis courts for the Presque Isle Wildcats and another week full of matches lies ahead.
Presque Isle played four matches in a four-day period beginning Thursday. Both the girls and boys teams pulled off three victories during the stretch. The boys are now 5-1 and the girls own a 4-2 record.
This coming week, the Wildcats have regular season matches Wednesday, Friday, Monday and Tuesday, while singles players compete in the regional tournament/state qualifier in Caribou on Saturday.
