CASTLE HILL – Harley L. Carmichael, 57, died early Sunday morning February 21, 2010, at his daughter’s residence in Masardis. He was born in Hartland, Me on April 5, 1952, the son of Milford and Bessie (McEachern) Carmichael. He worked as a farm laborer on area farms for many years. Harley loved to fish, hunt, and spend time with family and friends. Harley was loved by many. He is survived by two sons, Peter of Minot, ND, and Harley of Presque Isle; three daughters, Dolly Higgins and Carrie Charette, both of Masardis, and Sarah Carmichael of Presque Isle; four brothers, Mickey of Houlton, Marshall of Caribou, William of Presque Isle, and Rodney of Castle Hill; four sisters, Annette Keenan and Pearl Moyer, both of Florida, Jeannie Sharp of Castle Hill, and Linda Tarbox of Georgia; 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
