Easton Elementary students in grades 1-8 will present the hilarious family-friendly production of “The Adventures of the Fearsome Pirate” Thursday, May 25, at The Easton High School Gym at 6 p.m.

Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for students. Funds raised will become the budget for next year’s production. During intermission, the Easton National Honor Society will host a Coke Float fundraiser.
Who knew the pirate craze dated back to Shakespeare’s time? Apparently, the star of a popular pirate play, “The Fearsome Pirate Frank,” is the teenage heartthrob of every girl in Shakespearean England, even though he can’t remember his lines for the life of him. However, when the actor playing Frank and his supporting cast, including prima donna Esmerelda, get kidnapped by real pirates during one of their productions, it’s goodbye stardom, hello servitude on a real pirate ship.

Two witty narrators and a stream of hilarious sign-carriers keep the musical moving.

All are welcome to attend.
