AROOSTOOK COUNTY, Maine — Journalists and the people who layout the print versions of the paper participated in an in-house photography contest at your local paper. The photography contest centered on the concept of “frame” in an image. Northeast Publishing paginator Lanette Virtanen took this image during a visit to Bar Harbor, Maine. She said, “A quick trip to Bar Harbor when the town is just starting to come to life after a long winter and it looks as if the bench is waiting for someone to sit and enjoy the peace. The grass is green, the water is blue, and life is good.”
