PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — The Presque Isle Elks Lodge 1954 will sponsor a junior golf league again this summer and the signup meeting will be at 4 p.m. Sunday, June 4, at the Presque Isle Country Club, located on the Parkhurst Siding Road in Presque Isle.
The Elks Junior Golf League program provides free golf instruction one day each week. Supervised team golf play takes place Sunday evenings. For any young person who does not have their own golf equipment or available transportation, the Presque Isle Elks, in conjunction with the Presque Isle Country Club, will assure that equipment and transportation are provided.
Any young person entering grades 4-8 is eligible to register for the league.
Barry Madore, the Presque Isle Country Club PGA Professional and a member of the Presque Isle Elks Lodge will act as the chairperson for this program.
