STACYVILLE & SHERMAN, Maine – Coradene Alice Birmingham, 75, died May 31, 2017, in Bangor with her family by her side. She was born July 30, 1941 in Sherman Station, the daughter of Fernald and Thelma (Horsman) Drew.
Coradene liked watching the Red Sox, crocheting, knitting, and loved animals.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Carroll Birmingham of Sherman; two children, Debbie and her Husband, Mark Perkins of Sherman and Scott Birmingham of Stacyville; two grandchildren, Steve Johnson and his wife, Elizabeth Smith, of Assonet, Mass., Lacey Perkins-Kelly and her Husband Patrick Kelly of Arlington, Mass.; two great-grandchildren, Samuel and Desmond of Assonet, Mass; a sister-in-law, Monda Drew; several nieces, nephews and cousins, including special cousins, Clyde Merry and Loretta Goin; her friend, Marilyn Somers and many other close friends and her two cats, “Big Kitty and Little Kitty”. She was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Carl Drew.
Graveside funeral services were held 12 noon on Tuesday, June 6th at the Stacyville Cemetery with Rev. Frank Randall officiating.
