    Dinsmore, Paul F., 84, PRESQUE ISLE, in Mars Hill, March 30, 2010. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Friday May 28, at Pine Tree Cemetery, Easton. Arrangements are in the care of Duncan Graves Funeral Home.


 

    PRESQUE ISLE – Paul F. Dinsmore, 84, husband of Faye L. (Clark) Dinsmore, went to be with his Savior, March 30, 2010, at Mars Hill Health Care Facility. He was born June 27, 1925, in Brewer, the son of James and Hazel Dinsmore.
    Paul graduated from Brewer High School in 1942, received a Bachelor of Science degree from Husson College in 1964, and was a 1968 graduate of the University of Maine, receiving a Master of Education degree. He taught business courses at Franklin Academy, Malone, N.Y., from 1964 until retirement in 1990. Prior to teaching in Malone, N.Y., he worked for local Bangor firms as a bookkeeper and accountant.
    Mr. Dinsmore played trombone in the Bangor Symphony Orchestra and Bangor City Band for 19 years. He was also a member of the Bangor Male Chorus and Bangor Choral Society. He was a choir director in Brewer and Malone, N.Y. In the Champlain district of the Wesleyan church, Paul was district director of men, district auditor and district statistician. Paul had been an active member of Presque Isle Wesleyan Church and a member of Probus Club, since moving back to Presque Isle in 1998.
    He was predeceased by his parents; his wife of 49 years, Faye; and his sisters, Pauline and Roberta; his brother-in-law, Mearl Clark and his wife, Joyce; and two sisters-in-law, Glenda Clark and Erma Clark.
    Survivors include his one son, David and his wife, Eunice and grandchildren, Tiffany and Andrew, of Rochester, N.Y.; brother, Alton and wife, Mildred, of Steuben; three brothers-in-law, Vaughn and Larry Clark, both of Presque Isle, and Carl Clark and his wife, Janet, of Ravenna, Ohio; as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
    A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, May 28, at Pine Tree Cemetery, Easton, conducted by Pastors Larry Palmer and Carlos daCruz.
