PRESQUE ISLE – Gerald B. Antworth, 85, died Tuesday, March 30, 2010, at a Bangor hospital.
He was born on May 26,1924, in Summerfield, N.B., Canada, the son of Vernon and Hazel (Brown) Antworth.
He worked as a mechanic at Carroll’s Auto Sales for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen (Gee) Antworth of Presque Isle; a son, Gregory M. Antworth of Old Orchard Beach; a daughter, JoAnne Felch of Colorado Springs, Colo; two brothers, Stillman and David Antworth, both of Woodstock, N.B.; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a sister Velma Webster.
A graveside service was held 1:00 p.m., Monday, April 5, at Fairmount Cemetery in Presque Isle, with the Reverend Ron Chaffee officiating. Arrangements respectfully handled by Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church Street, Presque Isle. Online condolences may be expressed at www.duncan-graves.com.
