Nick Bartlett and Connor DeMerchant had two hits apiece and Gross and Dakota Morrow each singled for the Wildcats.

The Hawks scored two runs in the bottom of the third and added an insurance tally in the fifth to support Nash, who walked just three batters in the game. Keith Pomeroy doubled and singled for the second-ranked Hawks, who improved to 14-3 but went on to lose in the semifinals.
