Recently visited The Aroostook Medical Center and Crown Ambulance. TAMC employee Darcy Nadeau led a few fun, hospital-related outdoor games and activities with the girls, then EMT Matthew McPherson showed the girls the inside and outside of an ambulance, explaining the equipment on board and what each piece is used for. He then took the girls inside the Crown Ambulance station and taught them some basic first aid tips for bleeding and applying splints to possible broken bones. The afternoon concluded with a brief tour of the public areas of TAMC, led by Nadeau. Pictured are, from left: McPherson, Bethany Baker, Rebecca Rider, Madelyn Buzza, Delaney Alward, Katelyn Amero, Jenna Mountain and Alexis Getchell. Absent were Scouts Alexus LaFerriere, Sydney Robichaud, Brooke Trask, Paige Trask and Amanda Winslow.
