On June 7, the Oakfield Senior Citizens gathered for a meeting. The Smoki-Haulers Snowclub had lots of red, white and blue table and wall decorations. All members were ”framed” and pictures were taken.

After our potluck luncheon Mr. Locke called the business meeting to order with The Lord’s Prayer and flag salute. Charlotte Marley won the 50/50. Delores Locke read a thank you note from RSVP.  Plans for our annual picnic were discussed.

The jars of peanut butter and jelly were collected and then delivered to Bangor Savings Bank. Thanks to everyone for their donations.

Attending were:  Verna Boone, Marie Gillotti, Arlene Friel, Bob and Delores Locke, Earl and Lottie Doughty, Berniece Campbell, George Barrow, Wannetta Townsend, Iona Nadeau, Gladys Corneil, Kathleen Boutilier, Mildred Gagnon, Don and Charlotte Marley.

All seniors are invited to join us on the first and third Wednesday of each month at 11 a.m. for a potluck luncheon followed by a short business meeting and entertainment. For more info call Delores Locke 757-8478.
