Library Happenings

We are making plans for our annual Tag Sale fundraiser. It will be held in July and August this year — days will be announced. If you have items to donate, please contact the library at 429-9625 to arrange to either drop them off or have them picked up. We are also looking for volunteers to help set up and run the Tag Sale.

The library will be doing a Bikes for Books event until August 12. There are three grade categories — PreK — K, 1 — 2 and grades 3 — 6 (the grade attended in the school year just over). Read books over the summer to have your name put into the appropriate bucket. There will be 2 winners in each category. Thanks go to the Aroostook Lodge #197 for donating the bikes.

Regular happening include Toddler Time on Tuesday’s at 10. We also are open for a Craft Club on Mondays from 5:30 — 7:30. Bring your favorite cross stitch piece, knitting, crocheting or other craft to work on in the company of others.
