The Island Falls Recreation Department is holding a baseball skill-building event on Thursday evenings. Children ages 5-9 may come to the ball field Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. to have some fun while building skills.
No registration is required; just show up any Thursday that you are able.
An indoor farmer’s market/craft sale opened July 1 at 14 Houlton Road, in-town Island Falls. Crafts, fresh baked goods, fresh eggs, fruits and vegetables, as well as homemade jams, jellies and candies are offered. Inquire about renting a space for your crafts and goods at 616-1837. Hours will be Tuesday through Saturday, 10-6.
