CARIBOU, Maine — The Caribou Little League’s annual all-star games are set for Saturday, July 8, at the Robert P. White Field.
The first game, to be played at 10 a.m., pits the American League’s top 9- and 10-year-olds against the National League’s best.
Members of the American League 9- and 10-year-old team are Landon Belanger of Key Bank, Brayden Brescia of Police, Owen Corrigan of Sleepers, Bryce Dillon of K of C, Matthew Pelletier of Sleepers, Carsen Richards of K of C, Bryce St. Pierre of Police, Scott Stubbs of Police, Cody Tracey of Police and Parker Wark of Woodland Tigers. The team is managed by Josh Dillon, while Keith Richards and Ryan Corrigan serve as coaches.
The National League 9- and 10-year-old roster is made up of Cayden Ala of Maine Savings Bank, Brady Barnes of Maine Veterans Home/VFW, Luke Beidelman of Maine Veterans Home/VFW, Ryan Blackstone of Woodland Eagles, Damarion Gagnon of Hannaford, Gage Hale of Maine Savings Bank, Tristan Robbins of Maine Veterans Home/VFW, Edison Sleeper of Maine Veterans Home/VFW, Dawson St. Pierre of Maine Savings Bank, Landyn Waldemarson of S.W. Collins and Cameron Webster of S.W. Collins. Rudy St. Peter is the manager and Scott Walton, Travis Barnes and Greg Beidelman are the coaches.
At 1 p.m. the 11- and 12-year-old all stars from each division will square off.
Playing for the American League’s 11- and 12-year-old squad are Blake Anderson of K of C, Alex Belanger of Sleepers, Dylan Bouchard of Police, Keegan Brescia of K of C, Christopher Burby of Key Bank, Alex Levesque of Key Bank, Keenan Masse of Woodland Tigers, Griffen McNeal of Police, Landon Plourde of Sleepers, Aaron Saucier of Sleepers, Isaac Saucier of Sleepers and Landon Tracy of Police. The team is managed by Chad McNeal and coached by Ricky Bouchard, J.R. Belanger and Dave Saucier.
The National League’s 11- and 12-year-old all stars are Camryn Ala of Maine Savings Bank, Keegan Bell of S.W. Collins, Reece Cavagnaro of Maine Veterans Home/VFW, Logan Griffeth of Maine Veterans Home/VFW, Jaden Picard of Hannaford, Jude Shea of S.W. Collins, Eliot Sleeper of Maine Veterans Home/VFW, Connor Soucy of Woodland Eagles, Jesse Taggett of Woodland Eagles, Benjamin Thompson of S.W. Collins, Jacob Walton of S.W. Collins, Dawson Whitten of Maine Veterans Home/VFW and Devin Wright of Hannaford. Rick Taggett manages the team and Mario Picard, Josh Taggett and Josh Bell are the coaches.
The Caribou Little League wraps up its regular season this week, with the playoffs slated to get underway Monday, July 10, with the quarterfinals in each league.
The semifinals are July 11 and 12, with the division championship scheduled July 14.
The best two-of-three Little League championship series will be played July 18, 19 and, if necessary, July 21.
Police (9-1 as of July 2) is currently in first place in the American Division, while Maine Veterans Home/VFW (11-1) is on top in the National Division.
