Presque Isle senior Kailee Ireland, returns a serve during her first singles match Friday at Rockport against Camden Hills. Ireland was defeated by Carissa English of the Windjammers, 6-3, 6-1 and the Wildcats ended up losing the quarter final to Camden Hills, 5-0.

Wildcat Emerson Mendieta-Castro, right, slaps hands with doubles partner Kyle Gilson during Friday’s quarterfinal match against Old Town’s Chris Gilman and Cam Washington held at the University of Maine at Presque Isle courts. Gilson and Castro won their match, 61, 6-0, and PI went on to defeat the Coyotes, 4-1. The season came to an end Monday for the Presque Isle boys when they were defeated by Camden Hills, 3-2, in the Eastern Maine Class B semifinal match played in Bangor.
