The James School on the Spragueville Road in Presque Isle was filled to capacity Tuesday, July 4, as all ages turned out for an old-fashioned Fourth of July celebration.
The Presque Isle Historical Society’s Kim Smith delivered a reading of the Declaration of Independence, Richard Rand brought his antique Ford farm truck, and the group enjoyed brownies a la mode along with exploring the history of the one-room schoolhouse.
