BERNARD ‘BUD’ SENNETT, LINNEUS – Bernard ‘Bud’ Sennett, 68, left this world on the 4th of July, 2017, to celebrate his Independence Day with our Lord. He was born June 9, 1949, in Houlton, the son of Ethyl Pearl Tyrell and John Sennett.
Bud comes from a large family and was a brother to twelve siblings. He married Beverly (Reece) Sennett and they have a daughter, Robin and her husband, Jeroen van der Maat and son, Joshua Sennett with his partner, Ashley and her daughter, Micaela. Bud served in the US Army for nine and a half years, fighting in Vietnam War from 1969-1970. He worked as a carpenter, sawyer, gas station attendant and friend. Bud was a lover of people and was greatly loved by those who knew him.
Besides his wife and children, he is survived by his six well-loved grandchildren, Rhea, Nick, Austin, Devon, Eben and Maaike as well as one more on the way, due to arrive in September. He has been blessed with three great-grandchildren, Dominic, Lily and Lia; sisters, Velma, Barbara, Lynda, Phyllis; brother Alan Duane, Ernest and Michael. He was predeceased by both parents; his brother, Keith, Wendell and James; an infant sister, Donna.
Graveside funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on Friday, July 7th at the Evergreen Cemetery, Houlton, with Duane Sennett officiating.
